Follow Friday is a weekly meme hosted by Parajunkee & Alison Can Read. It's a great way to meet new blogger friends!!. If you are here from the Hop, feel free to stick around! (:

If you want to subscribe to my blog you can do it by email, bloglovin', linky, RSS and GFC.

Today's Follow Friday question over at Parajunkee's View and Alison Can Read is:

Q: I like unique names for characters and am looking forward to coming up with some when I start writing. What's the most unique character name you've come across?

A:Interesting question, I find these names unusual and I always appreciate some unique names: Karou from Daughter of Smoke and Bone. Meriadoc from The Lord of the Rings or Tamsin from Once a witch.

What are yours?

Thanks for stopping by!!

Meriadoc is unique. Respect that you managed to read LOTR because I tried as a kid and failed. :P

I've been wanting to read Once A Witch for a while now.. I just never get around to it. Would you recommend it? Maybe I should push it up on my TBR?

Karou is one of the exceptions to my "I don't like weird names" rule. It just fits somehow.

Karou would definitely qualify as one of the most unique names. I personally love Rhine or even Syrenka from Monstrous Beauty.

Love your blog, looks fun and interesting, so definitely a new follower for sure!

I think the names from LotR are pretty much classic now, like trade mark. Their originality shines even today. :)
